A Different Way to Get Sober

You're Not Broken.

Addiction isn't a character flaw, and you're not weak. The same relentless drive that made it impossible to stop becomes your greatest advantage once it's pointed in the right direction. We don't pile on restrictions. We teach you to harness it and get more out of life.

The trait, not the flaw

That obsessive, never-satisfied drive is an evolutionary strength pointed at the wrong thing. We redirect it instead of trying to break you of it, so it works for you in recovery and in life.

The spine, not the amenity

Plenty of programs add on "holistic" and exercise. Here the active, physical model is the treatment, every workout, ice bath, sauna and ocean session has real clinical reasoning behind it.

Built for outcomes, not billing

The industry optimizes for billable hours and protocol. We optimize for the life you build after you leave, high-functioning and connected, not restricted. And we measure it.

A different approach, with the results to match:

88%
successfully graduate the program
89%
are employed full-time after treatment
90%
stay connected to their team
98%
can healthily address negative emotions

You don't have to have it all figured out

Reaching out is the hardest part. We're here to make it easier.

We pride ourselves on helping people make real, positive change. Don't let the active, physical side scare you off. We don't expect anyone to feel great about their physical health when they start. Come as you are, and we'll build from there, together.

Our Program

Eight Elements. One Stronger You.

Abstinence is just the jumping-off point. To make change last, you have to build a life you're excited to lead, so each person's program draws from eight integrated, evidence-based modalities that rebuild the whole person.

Fitness Therapy (ESM)

Exercise-saturated training that restores brain chemistry and discipline. Scalable to any fitness level, we meet you where you are.

02

Writing Therapy

Process trauma and rewrite the story you tell yourself, turning painful history into a foundation for change.

03

Adventure & Action Therapy (ABIT)

Ocean, outdoor, and action-based experiential work tied to brain science and team dynamic. A differentiator no traditional center can match.

04

One-on-One Counseling

Private, focused sessions with licensed clinicians, built around your history, your goals, and your pace.

05

Process & Support Groups

Honest conversation inside a trusted circle of peers.

06

Addiction Education

Understand the science so relapse loses its grip.

07

Yoga & Meditation

Regulate the nervous system and quiet the cravings.

08

Recovery in Action

Apply new skills to daily life before you ever leave.

Veteran-Led & Trauma-Informed

Built With a Navy SEAL

Our physical-empowerment approach was built with Neil Trusso, a former Navy SEAL and veteran-affairs specialist who understands what it takes to serve, and what it takes to come back. It channels the discipline and drive that made you effective into recovery that lasts.

We treat addiction and trauma together, not separately. For many veterans, substance use is tangled up with PTSD, TBI, chronic pain, and the weight of what you carried home. Our trauma-informed clinicians address the whole picture.

This is not boot camp. It is structured, physical, and demanding in the ways that heal, paired with real clinical care and a team that has your six.

Is PHP Right for Me?
Flexible + Focused

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Part-time, around your life

  • Keep working or studying while you heal
  • Same proven curriculum, more flexibility
  • Strong bridge from PHP to independent life
Ask About IOP
Lifelong Support

Outpatient & Aftercare

Ongoing support

  • Ongoing counseling & alumni community
  • Relapse-prevention & accountability
  • Stay connected to your team
  • Support that doesn't end at graduation
